September 15, 2023: There is no ration on Grace

Daily Scripture Reading: Acts 15:22-41

There is No Ration on Grace

In Acts 15:22-41, we see a profound lesson in personal relationships and the power of grace.

The passage reveals a disagreement between Paul and Barnabas regarding John Mark's involvement in their missionary journey. Paul was hesitant due to a previous desertion, while Barnabas wanted to give him a second chance.

As individuals, we can relate to moments when we've had conflicts or disagreements with close friends or family. This passage reminds us of the importance of forgiveness, second chances, and the transformative power of grace in our personal lives.

Daily Prayer:

Dear Lord, In the story of Paul, Barnabas, and John Mark, we see the beauty of reconciliation and second chances. We've faced moments of conflict and hurt in our personal relationships. Help us learn from this passage and apply its lessons in our lives.

Teach us to be more forgiving, to offer second chances when necessary, and to extend grace to those who have hurt us.

Just as Barnabas believed in John Mark's potential, help us to see the potential for growth and change in those around us. Thank you for showing others the same potential in us.

Lord, mend any broken relationships in our personal lives. May your love and grace be the catalyst for healing and restoration. We thank you for the example of Paul and Barnabas and the reminder that, through your guidance, reconciliation is possible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
